Pulse timing

A ring expands and contracts around the jellyfish. The game reports EARLY, PERFECT, or LATE; a PERFECT pulse produces the strongest ascent.

Movement and currents

The jellyfish sinks under gravity when you do nothing. Aiming changes the horizontal part of the next pulse. The flow also alternates between upward and downward phases, so watch the status display and adjust your timing.

Plankton and score

Moving plankton awards base points when collected. A successful climb multiplies that plankton score by an integer Time Rate based on the seconds remaining. The rate ranges from 100% to 300%. This rewards collecting efficiently instead of waiting indefinitely.

Game over: if time reaches zero before the goal, the run score is zero. BestScore remains available during the current page session.

Sound and retry

BGM and sound effects have separate 0–100% controls. You can adjust them from the start screen, while paused, or from the result screen. Retry begins only when you select Retry.

Mobile notes

Tap controls work on touch screens. Tilt steering depends on browser and device motion support, and motion access may require HTTPS and user permission. Keyboard steering remains available on devices with a keyboard.
